This Wednesday, October 16th, we’re celebrating Liqueur Day, the perfect opportunity to discover or rediscover the world of VEDRENNE creams and liqueurs.
For over 100 years, VEDRENNE, based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy, has been perpetuating its unique know-how as a liqueur maker.
Founded in 1923, the company has always made a point of selecting the finest fruit and respecting every ingredient, to create liqueurs with intense, authentic flavors. VEDRENNE works closely with local growers to develop its recipes with quality ingredients picked when ripe.

THE MUST-HAVES
Elderflower Liqueur VEDRENNE
Our Elderflower Liqueur offers a delicately floral experience with fruity notes of rose and lychee, enhanced by a hint of citrus.
ELDERFLOWER MARTINI :
- 4.5 cl Gin
- 1 cl Fleur de Sureau VEDRENNE
- 1.5 cl dry vermouth
Combine all ingredients in a wine glass filled with ice cubes.

Crème de Cassis Supercassis VEDRENNE
Our Crème de Cassis VEDRENNE offers a richly aromatic experience, with the intense flavors of the Noir de Bourgogne variety, grown in France. Blackcurrant berries are macerated in rotating stainless steel tanks, protected from air and light, then sweetened with French dry sugar.
SUPER BURGUNDY BRAMBLE :
- 2 cl Supercassis VEDRENNE – 20%
- 4.5 cl Gin SALERS 70cl – 40%
- 3 cl lime juice
Shake all ingredients. Serve in a glass filled with ice.

Our preparation for Spritz VEDRENNE
This natural recipe, with its subtly bitter orange notes, combines several spirits distilled in our own stills from exclusively French alcohol. Find the best of Italy and French know-how in this preparation for Spritz.
To your glasses!
SPRITZ :
- 6 cl preparation for Spritz VEDRENNE
- 9 cl sparkling wine
- 3 cl sparkling water
Pour ingredients into a pool glass. Fill the glass 2/3 full with ice cubes, then pour in 3 cl sparkling water. Stir with a spoon.

Our VEDRENNE Coffee Liqueur
Our Liqueur de Café VEDRENNE reveals intense mocha coffee aromas, obtained from a blend of 100% Arabica soluble coffee from Colombia, and an alcoholate distilled in a Charentais still from roasted and atomized green coffee beans.
ESPRESSO MARTINI :
- 5 cl Vodka
- 3 cl Liqueur de Café VEDRENNE
- 4 cl espresso
Shake all ingredients and double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with one or two roasted coffee beans.
