A LITTLE HISTORY
Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices consumed. It is mentioned in Chinese, Indian, Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman writings as far back as the 2nd millennium BC. It was renowned for its aromatic, olfactory and medicinal properties. A range of qualities that make it a choice ingredient.
Long considered a luxury spice, access to it became available to the entire European population from the Renaissance onwards. A phenomenon that guarantees it a lasting place in the French culinary landscape through its tarte tatin, pain d’épice and Alsatian bredeles.

ICED COFFEE WITH CINNAMON

2.25 cl VEDRENNE Vanilla Syrup
1.25 cl VEDRENNE Cinnamon Syrup
12 cl milk
1 espresso
ice cubes
Prepare an espresso and allow to cool to room temperature. Place the ice cubes in a shaker, add the cold milk and shake.
Pour the syrups into a mug, followed by the ice-cold milk.
Wait for the milk and foam to dissociate, then pour in the espresso.
Decorate with coffee beans and serve with a cinnamon roll.
BURN BOURBON BURN

6 cl Bourbon
0.75 cl Cinnamon Syrup VEDRENNE
0.75 cl Maple syrup
6 cl apple juice
3 dashes Angostura bitter
3 dashes fee foam
cinnamon powder
Shake all ingredients and strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes.
Add the Angostura and garnish with a dehydrated apple and cinnamon.
